veure, escoltar i comunió.

The role of urban/rural environments on Mexican children’s connection to nature and pro-environmental behavior
Living in rural areas has been described a driver for behaving in a pro-environmental way, mainly due to the more frequent contact with nature that people from rural areas have. However, the processes that link living in a rural area and behaving in a more ecological manner have not been systematically studied. Moreover, most studies have focused on adults living in developed countries. Given the importance that the actions conducted by people in developing countries have for the future of the environment, as well as the relevance of children’s pro-environmentalism for nature conservation, we present a brief research report examining the relationship between Mexican children’s place of residence and self-reported pro-environmental behavior (PEB). Participants were 200 children from Mexican rural areas (150, 000 inhabitants). Children were between 9 and 12 years old. Children’s connection to nature was considered as a mediator in the relationship between children’s place of residence and PEB. Our findings revealed that rural children hold a stronger sense of connection to nature and behave in a more pro-environmental way than urban children. In addition, place of residence was directly and positively linked to their PEBs, and this relationship was mediated by children’s connection to nature. The relationship between connection to nature and PEB was stronger for girls than for boys. The model explained 45% of the variance of children’s self-reported PEBs
Esperienza e/o intelligenza della Fede. Un tentativo di Teologia-Liturgica Fondamentale
Seeing and hearing/listening (videre et audire): these two paradigms appear in the prologue of Dei Verbum (1965). The Council's dogmatic constitution already puts us in the perspective of understanding the faith from the beginning and also proposes a form of transmission: to see, to listen, above all through the exercise of communion.I propose to elaborate theologically, starting from Dei Verbum and starting from «seeing» and «hearing» (1 Jn 1,2–3), a theological perspective that also includes the liturgy to conceptualize faith not only dogmatically, but also on the experiential plan. But we must not forget that if God’s revelation is clear and active, we experience a great difficulty in «how to speak of God» in the concrete today of our contemporaneity.Starting from these assumptions we list a fundamental theology-liturgical proposal from the experience of seeing and hearing (fides ex auditu) as a path to the experience of faith that leads to understanding. Experience and / or Intelligence of Faith.
This research presents a proposal to study the secessionist discourse as a network of collective mental states, from a holistic perspective aimed to find the structure of the discourse, integrating different arguments on the field, and observing the relations established between them. To this goal, a mixed methods approach has been used, in which data extraction is qualitative, and data analysis is quantitative. Discourse has been generated through semistructured in-depth interviews to a specific profile of secession supporter (18-34 years old, college graduates, supporters of ERC and CUP political parties, "only Catalan" identity). The interviews have been codified in regard to the types of arguments emerged. A network diagram has been built based on co-occurrences of codes in each speech sequence. The network shows how arguments establish relations among themselves. Four main types of arguments have emerged: identity-based arguments, economic arguments, and two other types of arguments named "institutional/political/civic" (against Spanish institutions and political actors, or in favor of Catalan ones), referred to positive perceptions about Catalan institutions and actors, and negative perceptions about the Spanish ones. The most mentioned and most central arguments in the network are institutional/political/civic ones, highlighting negative aspects of Spain and the Spanish people, especially referring to actions carried out by the Spanish government which are perceived as attacks or aggressions against Catalonia. Identity-based arguments are conveyed through mentions to Catalan language. Explicit mentions to Catalan identity as arguments for secession are way less frequent in discourse. Institutional/political/civic arguments in favor of Catalonia convey confidence to the fact that a new Catalan state would do a better management than the Spanish state. Also, these arguments see secession as a means to implement social policies and decide about everything. Economic arguments have a secondary position
